Arts Reverie is:

A centre for the research and development of contemporary craft in collaboration with makers and partners in the city and its region.
A special house where artists can stay to develop their ideas and their creative practice.
A base for formal and informal residencies
A creative space from which new thinking and new work will originate, to connect and influence other artists, cultural organisations and people in Ahmedabad, India, and internationally.
An active part of a programme of initiatives that are driving the City’s regeneration, specifically linking heritage with the energy of the India’s burgeoning contemporary arts scene.

Arts Reverie offers:

Guest rooms for visitors to the City on a daily basis, either b&b or full board, with discounts for longer stays.
Artists and creative practitioners from all disciplines are welcome to book time at the house as their residency base for self-directed programmes, projects etc. The programme managers are able to offer some advice to visiting artists on who, what, where they can meet, see and do.
Year-round accommodation for up to four artists at any one time, for short or long term residencies
Arts Reverie residencies are offered on an annual basis for international and Indian artists and creative practitioners. Artists are invited to apply for places on these subsidised programmes. Resident artists can be provided with access to studio/workspace, networking with the City’s cultural sector and institutions, and project management support.
Access to and involvement in a broad programme of cultural events and links with cultural industries professionals within the City and across India.
